"The slow regard of silent things..." - Patrick Rothfuss
Upcoming Projects
YOUR NAME IS JANE: an original novel (now in edits, intent to publish). Jane and her husband Nicolas live a quiet life in the sewers of the town of Osleim, after a war of magic versus technology destroyed much of the surface. The two are happy, though they are essentially on their own to survive. But when someone from the surface finds them, Jane is forced to question everything she thought she knew about their life, Nicolas, and herself.

Five Questions
What do you like to write?
I like character-driven stories, often exploring the more uncomfortable aspects of humanity. But I do appreciate the value of hope. What is your favorite book?
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. When do you write?
I'd prefer to write in the morning, after a cup of tea. The world is quiet and reflective. However rarely do I get this time, so I write during the day if I'm off work, or at night. What makes a great story?
One that echoes its themes and motifs not just in its plot, but in its characters and the way its written. Style is very important. The right description for a feeling or moment is everything. As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?
A combination of an octopus (for the many dexterous tentacles for typing) and the spirit of T. S. Eliot.
